People actually have options on what types of foods they want to put in their body. You want vegan protein powder? No problem. You want a energy bar with no almonds and dark chocolate? No problem. You want pizza on a gluten free crust? Come on down.🙋🏽‍♂️ The fitness community now has the power of choice vs the industry making it for them. There is an inner awareness growing more and more each day. The benefit of this is we truly learn how to live a balanced healthy lifestyle.🤗🥑🤹🏽‍♂️

Your way….or Mine?

The bigget challenge for me as a trainer is having clients break old habits. By now everyone has either given up or think they are making huge gains by drinking one less beer on the weekend (leaving the total at 7 rather then 8).

You’ve been doing things how you see fit. Some people are making some solid changes that are going to make for a wonderful summer body.  The rest of you 92% need a new approach. 

Your way is what got you here….lets try my way!

Ac·count·a·bil·i·ty

The first month of 2017 is wrapping up. For most people that set a resolution, very few changes have been noticed. In fact, as little as 8% of people will actually see and feel a change from their resolutions. That is an extremely low success rate so I wanted to focus on a huge deciding factor in that success rate… Accountability.

A goal can only be executed when there is accountability to make healthy food choices, cardio and not missing workouts. Not everyone is great at holding themselves accountable. When someone’s not efficient with money, they hire a financial advisor. When in search of a new home, you reach out to a realtor for their expertise. My job as a trainer is to hold you accountable to ensure your success and motivate you along the way. Even if you dont have  a trainer, delegate these responsibilies with a person you trust to keep you on track. A significant other or a best friend. Challenge each other. And make milestones to track the progress.  
There is plenty of time until you showcase your summer body.  Get to it!
